Why Asymmetric Markets? Why Greece or Cyprus?

  • Asymmetric investing means the probability or outcome of a trade has more profit than loss or risk taken to achieve the profit. In effect, the upside potential probability is perceived as greater than the downside loss. Asymmetry of a trade may be when the downside is perceived as limited, but the upside is perceived as unlimited. In investments, asymmetry is when your risk and reward is positiveluy skewed so the probability of potential for reward is greater than the perceived risk taken. Greece and Cyprus are European markets of great talent which after a period or restructuring turned to exports and growth and offer assymetric opportunities. Note that in any venture you may lose all of your capital in no time.

Why London?

  • The bridge of the world for commercial and financial transactions.
  • AngloSaxon legal framework as the basis for international agreements world wide.
  • Access to Middle East, USA and Asia and proximity to Europe.
  • Ecosystem knowhow (trillions under UK management, thousands of FCA firms).
