Vasilis Petinis is a Certified Public Accountant and Managing Partner of RSM Greece S.A., the Greek member firm of the sixth largest network for audit, tax, advisory services worldwide, with over 20 years of professional experience in the audit and advisory sector. He also serves as Non Executive Board Member of ONYX Ventures and Chairman of the Audit Committee of ONYX Ventures and IKTINOS HELLAS S.A. both publicly listed companies.
He is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the RSM International Risk Management Leadership Team, the RSM Restructuring Centre of Excellence, the Chartered Management Institute (UK), the Economic Chamber of Greece, a former member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
Vasilis holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, an MBA from the University of Sheffield (UK), the ACCA certification as a statutory auditor, an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business Administration from ACCA and a Postgraduate Professional Qualification for Statutory Auditors (METKEL) from the Institute of Education of Certified Public Accountants of Greece.
He has previously served as a Consultant at Kantor Management Consultants, a Consultant at Ovum Consulting (UK), and as a Strategic and Financial Analyst at the British Telecom Group (UK).
Vasilis has worked on numerous international engagements, primarily across Europe and the Middle East. He has provided services to Greek and multinational organizations in sectors including telecommunications, technology, manufacturing, real estate, food, energy, financial services etc.
In his capacity, he has led and supervised numerous engagements, including statutory and special audits, expert opinion reports, due diligence assignments, internal audit projects and evaluation of internal control systems, business planning, financial restructuring and transaction advisory services.
