Christopher Willmott joins Brookstreet Board
Brookstreet 2.0 is being shaped by a Board with senior experience across Oppenheimer UK, Deutsche Bank Ventures, Apex Group, Alter Domus and JPMorgan Global Fund Services.
We are pleased to welcome Christopher Willmott to the Brookstreet Equity Partners LLP Board as part of the continued development of Brookstreet 2.0.
Christopher joins a Board that brings together senior institutional experience across investment banking, venture capital, fund administration, asset servicing, governance and technology-enabled financial services. This includes Stephen Clark, former CEO of Oppenheimer UK, with senior C-level and chairman experience across Oppenheimer, Gerrard, VTB Capital, Access Bank, NHS Trust and Nutmeg; as well as Pierre F. Suhrcke, former global co-Head at Deutsche Bank Ventures; and Davinia Smith, whose institutional fund-services experience includes Apex Group, with approximately 600 billion in assets under administration, and Alter Domus, with over 3 trillion in assets under administration.
Christopher adds further depth in fund services, automation, finance control, technology transformation, investor operations and board-level governance. His appointment is also strongly aligned with Brookstreet’s AI strategy, where operational infrastructure, automation and disciplined governance are becoming increasingly important to the next generation of private-capital platforms.
His executive career includes serving as CFO of JPMorgan Global Fund Services, where he led the finance function for the firm's fund administration business; Global Head of Automation at Aztec Group, a leading global alternative assets administrator; CEO of Sprint Enterprise Technology, where he won FStech's Most Disruptive Technology Award; and Director of Investor Services, Operations and Technology at Oxford Capital, a UK venture capital firm. Earlier in his career he built his investment skills at Hill Samuel Asset Management, one of the UK's premier investment houses, and he has also advised at the highest level in professional services as Global Special Adviser at Dentons, the world's largest law firm.
Christopher holds an MBA from London Business School and a BSc Hons from the University of London and is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI). He is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers, a member of the Guild of Investment Managers, an Associate of King's College London, and holds the Financial Times Non-Executive Director Diploma. He also holds a certification in AI and Business Strategy from MIT.
He currently serves on the Oxford Diocesan Investment Committee.
